This feels incredible...

This past year has shown me something I didn’t expect: I have so much more to give than I ever allowed myself to believe.

For a long time, I’ve wrestled with what most people would call imposter syndrome. I adore photography — it lights me up — but I’ve always had that nagging voice asking, “Am I really as good as people say?” If I were, wouldn’t this be my full‑time career instead of accounting? The truth is, it’s not my full‑time gig because I never pushed myself to make it one. Fear of failure, fear of not being enough… those things held me back for years.

But 2025 changed everything.

Starting my moto vlog in July forced me out of my comfort zone in the best way. I tried something new, something scary, something wildly different; and it worked. The vlog is growing, the community is growing, and for the first time, I can actually see a future where my creative brain isn’t just a side-gig… it’s a career.

So what does that mean for MBK Photography?

It means growth. It means evolution. It means saying yes to new opportunities and letting my portfolio expand in ways I never expected. Portraiture and journalism will always be my foundation, but stepping into automotive and real estate photography has opened doors I didn’t even know were there. These new branches strengthen my brand, create stability, and ultimately give me more availability for the clients who trust me with their stories.

It also means new offerings are on the way — prints, canvases, photo books, and even gift cards. I want people to experience their images in a tangible, meaningful way, not just on a screen.

Growing MBK Photography while staying flexible for my clients has always been the goal. Photography and vlogging aren’t just side projects for me. They’re my passion and the career path I’m committed to. I’ve spent the last 15 years learning, experimenting, and leveling up… and I’m nowhere near done.
