Brittney Kitiara
Growing up I moved all over the country never staying in one place for more than 2-3 years. I believe that this is what shaped the way I view the world and people. I met many interesting people, listened to their incredible stories, and have seen more than my share of beautiful places. I continue to travel, listen to, and photograph this beautiful country and hope to one day be able to travel the world.
As a photographer, I capture the moments in time that define a person not by what they do for work or pleasure, but by who they are naturally. Whether it's a moment of laughter, intensive thinking, or a thought-filled smirk, each is unique to the individual creating them when they are not focusing on the camera. I admire the beauty of nature and prefer to take the individuals and families that I am photographing out to stunning locations that are often just beyond their normal routine, yet where they can fit in perfectly. I strive to Capture Life's Moments, So Memories Never Fade.
I attended classes for my crazy passion at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and graduated in December 2013 with my Associate of Applied Science - Professional Photography degree. I specialize in portraiture, however, I am always looking for new ways to see the world including photographing events such as weddings and other parties, as well as, all kinds of sports and the great outdoors. I continue to reside and photograph in the Grand Valley/Roaring Fork Valley.
